  • Obtaining customer consent
  • Maintaining lawful records
  • Complying with privacy regulations
  • Ensuring customer information is accurate
  • Maintaining proper authorization for stored information

Users remain the data controller for all customer information entered into the Service.

5. Analytics and Monitoring

We may use analytics providers and monitoring services to understand:

  • Feature usage
  • Session activity
  • Error reports
  • Performance issues

This information is used solely to improve the Service. It is not sold, and it is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.

We do not collect or store full payment card information. Billing, cancellations, refunds, and subscription management are governed by the applicable app marketplace provider.

7. Sharing Information

We do not sell personal information.

We share information with service providers who help us operate the Service. We require every service provider with access to user data to provide the same or equal protection of that data as described in this Privacy Policy, and to process it solely to deliver services to us and for no other purpose.

Our current service providers are:

  • Supabase — cloud hosting, database storage, and user authentication
  • RevenueCat — subscription and entitlement management
  • Google — Google Sign-In authentication and mapping services
  • Apple — Sign in with Apple authentication and subscription processing
  • Expo — push notification delivery

These providers have access only to the information necessary to perform their functions and are contractually restricted from using it for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information:

  • To comply with legal obligations

  • To enforce agreements
  • To protect user safety

We may transfer information during:

Any acquiring party will remain bound by the commitments in this Privacy Policy with respect to previously collected information.

8. Third Party Services

The Service may integrate with:

  • Authentication providers
  • Analytics services

We are not responsible for the availability, uptime, functionality, security, or accuracy of third-party services.

9. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls that restrict each account's data to that account. No internet-based service can guarantee complete security. Users acknowledge the inherent risks associated with electronic storage and transmission.

9A. Backup and Data Recovery

While we maintain commercially reasonable backup practices, users remain solely responsible for maintaining independent copies of important business records. Cosmic Rocket Labs shall not be liable for:

  • Accidental deletion
  • Synchronization failures
  • Corrupted data
  • Backup failures
  • Third-party outages
  • Catastrophic loss of information

10. Data Retention

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Comply with laws
  • Resolve disputes
  • Prevent fraud
  • Enforce agreements

When you delete your account, your profile, client records, jobs, quotes, and associated data are deleted from our active systems. Certain information may remain in encrypted backups or security systems for a limited period after deletion requests.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed toward children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from children. The Service is a business tool intended for use by adult professionals.

Because face painting businesses frequently serve children, users may enter limited information relating to minors — such as a first name or an allergy note — into their own client records. Users are solely responsible for obtaining all required parental permissions and legal authority before doing so, and should not store unnecessary information relating to children within the Service. Parents or guardians with concerns may contact us using the information below.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to:

  • Access information
  • Correct information
  • Delete information
  • Export information
  • Restrict processing
  • Withdraw consent

You may withdraw consent for camera, photo library, location, or notification access at any time in your device settings. Requests relating to your account data may be submitted using the contact information below.

13. California Privacy Rights

California residents may request:

  • Access
  • Correction
  • Deletion
  • Export of personal information

California residents may also appoint an authorized agent to make requests on their behalf where permitted by law. Facepainting CRM does not sell personal information.

14. Account and Data Deletion

Users may delete their account directly within the application by navigating to:

Settings → Delete account

Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, client records, jobs, quotes, and related data, and cannot be undone. If you signed in with Apple, your Sign in with Apple tokens are revoked as part of deletion.

Users may also request deletion by contacting support. Most requests are completed within 30 days. Certain information may be retained for:

  • Fraud prevention
  • Dispute resolution
  • Security investigations
  • Legal compliance

15. International Users

Information may be processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where our providers operate. By using the Service you consent to these transfers where permitted by law.

16. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of revisions.
